Sean and I have been married for eight years.

We have only remembered our anniversary once.

this year sweet zac reminded us.

he said "mum, did you find dad at the temple?

I told him I found him at school etc.

then Sean and I looked at each other and realised that it was our anniversary.

whoops. 

better luck next year.

at least this year we remembered on the day.

usually we don't remember until seans sister says something about her anniversary on facebook and i think hey i got married before you!

this may seem very strange.

probably is.

we are making progress towards the keeping of traditional holidays traditionally.

I gave my very first romantical valentines gift this year AND sean is yet to buy his own fathers day+birthday+easter+christmas present this year.

hopefully next year we'll remember the anniversary.

maybe even go out to dinner or something.

baby steps.
or not since i have a intense dislike of mandatory romantic days.
mandatory is for school not romancing.
