I am still alive.

I haven't been blogging because we've been busy!  My parents came to visit. Everyone got sick. Sean had a birthday. We moved to a new house.  We remembered our anniversary.  ok so not that busy but I didn't feel like blogging.

The Parental Visit...

its always exciting when Grandma and Grandpa come.  Grandma had a tough time getting over to us (never ever fly united) but once she got here we had lots of fun and everyone got sick.  Luckily we were all back to normal once Grandpa made it over here.  We went up to Yorktown and I was surprised to discover that my Dad doesn't know everything about the revolutionary war.  So weird when your parents aren't as smart as you think they are (well Mum gets smarter and smarter as I get older). We made the drive up to DC to find that we were about a week or two early for the cherry blossoms. So we just walked around the Jefferson Memorial and then went to visit Abe.  We didn't stay overnight because Sean wanted to take Dad to the Mariners museum, it is a great museum for adults...the kids got bored pretty fast also the I survived exhibit is kinda scary, it made me never ever want to go on a boat ever again.  Anyway we did lots more stuff but its been a month and I didn't write it down or take very many pictures so its forgotten like everything else.  I really never have to wonder why we have the same lessons at church because I never remember them. 

Sean had a birthday and it was promptly forgotten kind of.  Here's how it happened.  So everyone but Will got sick while mum was here and then everyone but William got sick again.  Poor Isaac was out for the entire week, which happened to be the week that I was supposed to be moving all our little things to the new house. 
New house side story... we had been looking for a cheaper house to rent because we have students loans to pay off.  Anyway there is this one area that has a great elementary school, very pretty neighborhood and is cheaper to live in because its old.  Historically protected old.  We happened to find a house in our price range with an awesome backyard and garages and it was only built in 1943 not 1918 so we moved in as fast as we could like a week later, it was the fastest move ever and a little surprising to everyone.  Despite having no dishwasher and Isaac opening the window with the AC unit sending it to its death everything with the new house is working out.
Being sick side story... so everyone but William got sick and the only thing that William has done differently to everyone else here is ... wait for it... he was bottle fed!  So suck it le leche league, random people in mothers rooms and others.  how do you like me now!  Sorry just some mother guilt coming out there.  breast is best and all that but its not the end of the world if you don't.
So we didn't celebrate Seans birthday until this week only a month and a halfish late, no big party just some cupcakes from our little neighborhood bakery and he went to see Iron Man 3 with his friend because I can wait until dvd.

Preschool Grad

Isaac graduated from preschool. yay?
Each preschool class sang a song from a book they read.  Most of the songs were pretty hard to learn for a bunch of 5 year olds so the performances were very entertaining.  The most memorable being a little girl stood completely still with a very serious face for her entire class performance, while her classmate stole the show with some absolutely fabulous dance moves.
For the actual "graduation" they had the kids come up and say their full names in the microphone, Isaac said his name was Isaac peter because on the way to the festivities he decided he wanted to change his name to peter parker. So I'm sure everyone thinks that we are super Spiderman fans to name our child after him.
