Mummy loves Art

After watching an episode of art zooka where they showed you how to draw a shark, Will and Zac decided they would try some underwater scenes of their own.   The finished products made me chuckle...

This first one is Isaac's.   As you can see his diver is about to get eaten by a shark and his word bubbles are frantic scribbles, which is what I imagine most people would be saying/thinking if they were in that situation

 

this next picture is Williams,  as you can see two poor people are getting eaten by sharks and all Williams diver can say is wow. 

I don't know why I think that's so funny but I do.

Happy Birthday William

William is Seven!  We had a little party with some of his friends, it wasn't too eventful just games, pizza, fizzy, and cake.  William had fun and no one got hurt so I'm counting it as a success.

 if you can't tell that's a pig from angry birds, the angry bird didn't work out so well...

 that's not cake on Williams chin, he burnt himself on a cookie sheet so it looks like he is sporting a soul patch.  don't worry if he ever grows a real one I'll shave it off while he is sleeping.

Halloween

Our neighborhood is big into Halloween.  I've never seen so many houses decked out in scary stuff.   If you are into Halloween you should come here, its insane.  I am glad its over.  I hate Halloween, I hate Halloween candy and I really hate post sugar meltdowns. BUT since Sean insists on letting the boys celebrate Halloween the traditional way I let them dress up and go beg for candy (which is awesome in this neighborhood too...full size even)

I let the boys choose so I was pretty happy about Isaac choosing to be Harry Potter. 

School

The end is near.  I have two boys at school now and I'm feeling pretty old.  The first day went very well.  So great that both Will and Zac got on the bus without saying goodbye.  I tried my best to convince them that I needed to take them to school on the first day but the bus won. 
Later on in the week zac said that when he was sitting on the carpet his heart started racing and his eyes were leaking because he missed his mum.  Pretty sure that makes him my favourite for this week.  Here are the only pictures I got of them before the boys ran off into the world. 

The Summer of Sean

Mr Sean got to go away for two weekends in a row.  He must have an awesome wife.  the first weekend he almost died running a Spartan Race and the next weekend he watched his favorite team loose a game they should have won.  Not quite sure who decides that but I guess BYU shouldn't have lost to VA because they just accidentally let them score a touchdown??

Seattle

After the reunion we spent some time in Seattle with C&S and J&S.  We went to the museum of flight, Pike place market, the science center, and the freemont troll.  It was so much fun we are planning on moving somewhere round here when we are finished here.
