This week we went to the Army Transport Museum. Even though it wasn't the most technologically advanced or well designed museum, the boys loved seeing all the old jeeps, trains, helicopters etc.

We went and "hiked" the Noland trail. Actually we got chik fil a and walked for about 5 minutes until mummy got too hot and wanted to retreat to the air conditioned comfort of home.
The next day we went to the beach but I was too worried about who was drowning and getting sun burnt to take any pictures and to stay for longer than 90 minutes. I was thinking living inland changed me some how but then I remembered that I still love the beach its bringing half our house, watching 2 boys who want to swim and one girl who wants to run around and make friends, and getting no sleep and thinking I'm giving my children skin cancer (thanks Queensland education system) and I'm always sad when I can't stop at new Zealand ice cream to buy a mango fruit flo the perfect after beach treat. blah I'm making it sound bad...It was enjoyable just a different kind of fun. Next time I'll bring a friend with no kids, or job, so maybe a nanny.
The most fun we had this week was at home. Our BIG water fight. The boys and I made these sponge thingos and went at it in the backyard (I love our big tall fence) it was really fun. Go make some. so much better than water balloons. easier to throw, no clean up, no owies and environmentally friendly (maybe).
