Random
I decided that Gummy is my American child and Zackie is my little Aussie.
Zackie loves the beach, Lamb, sharks, Finding nemo and Pavlova. Then in nursery he was trying to break into the toy box and he always steals the crayons and compared to Gummy he is a lot less worried about life. Gummy is American cause he likes, football, rodeo, nascar, and food out of a packet. He is freaked out by the beach, won't eat any lamb and is always cheering himself on when he doesn't have a cheer squad near by.

Gummy just wants to know where she is at all times. Zackie is having fun playing with someone different and yes that is H's pressie in the picture. Bruce and I have been shopping pretty much everyday since she got here! we got bruce a wicked awesome new wardrobe! And sean and I went out on friday night to uncle mikes graduation. Bruce just asked if I had to use this photo but its pay back for framing the picture of the sisters at smellos wedding, the one where everyone looks good except for me!

The South will rise again!
These two things happened a while ago...
Gummy and I were watching tv on Saturday and there is really nothing to watch. So I asked Gummy if he wanted to watch kipper the dog and he said no so I started channel surfing. While changing the channel he saw the football and said “stop, ball, ball” so I did and he soon lost interest. Then came the rodeo, he watched for a while and eventually lost interest. Then came nascar, his eyes lit up and he yelled “race car” then proceeded to watch nascar for a long time. I was suprized! Honestly rodeo, nascar and football how southern can you get!!! I’m a little worried he is going to start asking for chicken fried steak and grits. We need to move! Really I don’t mind the rodeo, I understand that its cool to see a bull throw someone off and football is ok but nascar could be the most boring thing ever!!! Really Gummy I hope you change your racing tastes to something more exciting like rally or formula one.
Whenever anyone asked what kind of music I liked I’d always say “lots of stuff, I just hate country.” Well I was sitting watching the Country music awards tonight and realized that I am really starting to like country music. Yeah I know weird right? I didn’t just not like country I hated it. So I thought back to when it may have started and I think I found the cause. Miss Cone! Yes that sweet girl was the beginning. At one of our many sleepovers we were fake emailing some boy and she made me listen to Cowboy take me away by the Dixie Chicks and I liked it. I thought at the time, no one will know, one song isn’t going to hurt you but like everything else it was the first step down the slippery slide of ya’lls, sexy tractors and honky-tonk-ba-donka-donks. After Kim there was Lone Star and she thinks my tractors sexy. Then I’d say 95% of the 30 roommates I had in college country was there number one choice music. One of them even taught me how to two step and turns out its way easier than swing and lots more boys can do it, which made it appealing. And then I moved to texas. And now I have FIVE country songs on my ipod and sometimes listen to country radio…please help.

Playdough

Today H came and played most of the day. Play dough kept the boys entertained for a little while because H was busy slowly stealing everyone else’s play dough to make his own picture. Funny thing was Gummy and Zackie didn’t even notice H was taking their play dough, if only that worked with toys. Can you see H's masterpiece? Zackie is trying to copy it.

Day at the "beach"
We went down to Galveston to go to the beach with AAAHJ. It was really gross. The sand was dirty, water was brown I would rather swim in the Brisbane river. It did have waves and sand so that’s all the kids wanted. Funny thing was as soon as we stepped on to the sand gummy started screams “I not like this, I not like this, carry you, carry you” eventually he got into it and even went and put his feet in the water. Zackie on the other had loved every minute of it and I had to pry him away from the water. So my sweet little zackie I’m sorry we don’t live in Australia where we could go to the beach everyday! How I miss Rainbow, Burleigh, Sunshine, well really any sunshine or gold coast beach would be a massive improvement to the ickyness of Galveston. The kiddos had fun so I guess it will have to do but there is no way I’m ever going to let that water past my knees.
