Christmas 2009

Merry Christmas! Our little family didn't go anywhere for Christmas this year and staying home turned out to be fantastic. Christmas eve we had breakfast food for dinner, made Heidi's yummy cookies and read the Christmas story by candlelight. I'm pretty sure zackie and gummy paid more attention to the candle but it was memorable for sean since it was the first time he got to read the story. Then it was off to bed and wrapping time for mummy. We didn't have a tree this year because my paper tree didn't last very long and we couldn't afford the tree we wanted to buy (why be stuck with a tree you don't like just because its cheap) so i had a mini tree and presents up on the table. Christmas morning zackie woke us up with the shark that bruce got him, he was so excited. Gummy loved his super hero cape and Zackie was all about the shark and his food set. He has been cooking and feeding it to the shark ever since. Gummy has been saying he is batman. I think next year I'm going to do the 12 days of Christmas for the boys because they really only want to play with one gift I almost had to force zackie to open a present since the shark was unwrapped and who could want anything more? And I think if I give anymore handmade presents I better start making them in june.
