4th of July

It seems I've lost my blogging mojo.  Here is what I remember about the 4th of July...

For the very first time our family actually went to some 4th of July festivities!  We started off the day walking down to main street and watching the little neighborhood parade.  Before we left I noticed Isaac was planning on bringing this backpack,

I told him it probably wasn't a good day to wear it and to leave it at home.

I didn't notice that Sean was wearing this shirt and neither did he.

He was so embarrassed and poor Elise was used as a human shield but when she didn't cooperate Sean got a lot of funny looks, he felt like telling everyone its ok I'm in the air force!!  I thought it was hilarious. So we basically ran back home after the parade was done, it was a cute little parade here is a picture

We decided to go to the Beach after lunch...

Came home and ate some hot dogs for dinner.  Then I stayed home with Elise while Sean went in search of fireworks with the boys. They didn't have to look far since there are 3 different cities plus amusement parks that put on big 4th of July stuff.  Which is understandable since we are very close to some very important revolutionary battle fields.
